What I was reading today....

Ever feel as if you need to get away?
So did Jesus..
Mark 1:35
And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.
Ever have so many demands that you can't stop for lunch? He can relate.
Make 6:31
And He said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.
Do your friends ever let you down? When Christ needed help his friends dozed off.
Matthew 26:40
And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?

When you turn to Him for help, He runs to you to help. Why? He knows how you feel. He's been there...So go to Him.

Isn't that good? God is there, just waiting for us to ask for help.. all we have to do is ask.. Yet so many times, things happen in our lives and the flesh makes us think.. where was God when these bad things happen? why didn't He help me?
He ws there.. we never asked... we sometimes get so busy trying to do everything ourselves...God is good all the time, all the time, God is good!
