I was just checking the King Arthur website to compare flour prices and I saw that they are offering free shipping on certain items. This candy thermometer is $9.95 and is one of the items that ship free.
I do so much baking and cooking from scratch that I’m now going to buy flour in 25 lb. bags and store in large plastic containers.

This recipe is so good! And, easy to make, too!
Ingredients:
2 cups chopped cooked chicken
2 cups chicken broth
2 1/2 cups cheddar cheese
1/2 cup minced onion
1 4 oz. jar of diced pimentos
1 lb. spaghetti, broken into pieces
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook spaghetti according to directions.
Mix spaghetti, 2 cups cheddar cheese, onion, both cans of soup and pimentos in large bowl. Mix in chicken and chicken broth. Pour into large, greased casserole dish.
Cover with remaining 1/2 cup cheddar cheese. Bake 20-25 minutes. Enjoy!

Here’s an easy and tasty way to put those great Chex cereal coupons to use!

Coconut Chex Mix

3 cups Corn Chex
3 cups Rice Chex
1/2 cup nuts (cashews, peanuts and/or almonds)
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup white granulated sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
Combine Chex, nuts, and coconut in a large bowl. Set aside. Line a cookie sheet with wax paper. In a medium saucepan, combine the corn syrup, butter, sugar, and vanilla. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Take off heat, and pour over the Chex mix and stir until evenly coated. Spread out onto cookie sheet and let set for a few minutes. Enjoy! Store leftovers in baggies in a cool, dry place.

I have been toying with this for a few months now – creating a menu plan.
