I read this on a post from a friend... read it.. funny!
have a great day.
THE NEXT SURVIVOR SERIES
Six married men will be dropped on an island with one car and 3 kids each for six weeks.
Each kid will play two sports and either take music or dance classes.
There is no fast food.
Each man must take care of his 3 kids; keep his assigned house clean, correct all homework, complete science projects, cook, do laundry, and pay a list of 'pretend' bills with not enough money.
In addition, each man will have to budget in money for groceries each week.
Each man must remember the birthdays of all their friends and relatives, and send cards out on time.
Each man must also take each child to a doctor's appointment, a dentist appointment and a haircut appointment. He must make one unscheduled
and inconvenient visit per child to the Urgent Care (weekend, evening, on a holiday or right when they're about to leave for vacation). He must also
make cookies or cupcakes for a social function.
Each man will be responsible for decorating his own assigned house, planting flowers outside and keeping it presentable at all times.
The men will only have access to television when the kids are asleep and all chores are done.
Each father will be required to know all of the words to every stupid song that comes on TV and the name of each and every character on cartoons.
Each man will have to make an Indian hut model with six toothpicks, a tortilla and one marker; and get a 4 year old to eat a serving of peas.
Each man must adorn himself with jewelry, wear uncomfortable yet stylish shoes, keep their nails polished and eyebrows groomed. The men must
try to get through each day without snot, spit-up or barf on their clothing.
During one of the six weeks, the men will have to endure severe abdominal cramps, back aches, and have extreme, unexplained mood swings but never once complain or slow down from other duties. They must try
to explain what a tampon is for when the 6-yr old boy finds it in the purse.
They must attend weekly school meetings, church, and find time at least once to spend the afternoon at the park or a similar setting.
He will need to read a book to the children each night without falling asleep, and then feed them, dress them, brush their teeth and comb their hair each morning by 7:00. They must leave the home with no food on
their face or clothes.
A test will be given at the end of the six weeks, and each father will be required to know all of the following information: each child's birthday, height, weight, shoe size, clothes size and doctor's name. Also the child's weight at birth, length, time of birth, and length of
labor, each child's favorite colour, middle name, favorite snack, favorite song, favorite drink, favorite toy, biggest fear and what they want to be when they grow up.
They must clean up after their sick children at 2:00 a.m. and then spend the remainder of the day tending to that child and waiting on them hand and foot until they are better.
They must have a loving, age appropriate reply to, 'You're not the boss of me'.
The kids vote them off the island based on performance. The last man wins only if...he still has enough energy to be intimate with his spouse at a moment's notice.

Summer is here..
Not much going on here.. it is sooo hot and has been the last couple of days..
I have started getting allergy shots, and I can tell the difference with that and my new medication.. I have terrible allergies!
I am afraid that I passed that on to Isaiah.. he has them now, too.. he is sneezing and coughing and has a runny nose.. especially when we go outside.. so the doctor gave him zyrtec in a liquid form! my poor baby!
Today the graduation party season begins! YAY!
I hope everyone is doing well, and praying for eachother..
I just want to say because I have been thinking about it a lot and a friend is having issues with hers...
Please pray for your husbands daily (I am sure most of you do, but this is a gentle reminder) pray for him to follow God daily, to stay in His word, to be strong and a good husband and father.. sometimes we can be so picky and "naggish" with our husbands and we forget to appreciate him and don't pray for him.... Pray for ladies who are going through issues with being without a husband, whether it be due to death, or divorce.. or just not having a husband and having to raise children all alone.. something to think about. I know Father's day is coming up. Keep our men in prayer.
have a great weekend.

A LONG WEEK.....
Pictures in order.
1. Isaiah in his new sunglasses and CARS hat
2. Dad with Kendall and Isaiah HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROGER!
3. Kendall is trying to walk and get around, here he is on his scooter car moving it around.
4. Isaiah loved to laugh and smile!
5. Kendall loved to be in front of the camera! Thank you Jesus, for letting him get better and healing his chubby little body!
Well, it is monday and this week has been a little bit of a stressfull week.
Starting on Wednesday, Kendall woke up with a 102.8 temp. I called the doctor and he put him on Motrin and Tylenol. His temp went down a bit but was still over 100. Thursday morning he woke up with 103.7 and the doctor had us go in to the ER to get him checked out. Kendall was eating normally and not acting sick.. so we weren't sre what could be wrong with him. They checked for a UTI, nothing.. and then took some blood.. I hated it! Kendall is a screamer! :-( They said that it would take 24 hours for the result of the blood test to come back.. so they sent us home and said it was probably a virus going around and to keep him on Motrin and Tylenol. His temp went down as low as 99. but at night it would go back up to 103.7 at the highest.. he was a tired, but still normal acting. PLUS he was cutting about 4 teeth at one time, probably contributing to the temperature.
Besides Kendall's temp, Roger's birthday was on friday and I had planned a SURPRISE Birthday Party for him.. it was going well, he had no clue..he thought that his daughter was taking him out to dinner..Well, my dad slipped up and told him that he was coming over there house for the dinner ...that got Roger started, he was calling around and snooping trying to figure things out! So, I had to work my magic and get him back to thinking that it was all a mistake and his daughter was still taking him to eat. He was very surprised and the party went well and he had a great time! so HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROGER! I LOVE YOU! (when we were in the ER I had to make sure it was okay for us to be around other kids with Kendall's temp high in case it was some sort of virus <---but the doc said it was okay.. I am sure Roger was wondering why I wanted to know that)
And I was sad to find out that a sweet young lady in our church, Stephanie Krupnek, had passed away on Wednesday.. ( I had to miss church because of Kendall, so I didn't find out on Thursday night when it come out in the paper) She had a long battle with re accuring tumor's and the difficulties is presented and then with cancer... so I am sure her family is comforted knowing that she has peace now and a brand new healthy body...and are glad to know that she had accepted Jesus as her savior and is with Him now!
Sunday, it seemed that Kendall's temp was okay now but Saturday night, Isaiah started coughing.. his temp was up at 100. so I was wondering if this little virus had been passed along! We stayed home Sunday morning! I was so sad because we were missing the Church Anniversary Sunday, but knew that it was best for us to make sure we were okay before getting out with all the other kids... I got to go to Sunday evening service..Isaiah stayed with my dad, and I took Kendall with me... Isaiah's temp was fine all day, so he just has a little cough...
MONDAY MORNING< TODAY>
we got a call from the ER charge nurse and she said that Kendall's blood tests came back positive and that we needed to see our pediatrician today if possible.. I had already had an appointment.. she said she was going to fax the results to the doctor.. So I called the doctor's office and they said they wanted to see us....
I had to go to the allergy doctor this morning first, and they decided I need to start getting allergy shots, weekly and then we went to see the pediatrician...
He said that there were four days of results, I don't know if they tested the blood four times, but the last time showed bacteria in the blood.. and this is probably why he had the fever. but the doctor believed that it was contaminated because the other three times were normal. He said that since his temp was back to normal today he was going to prescribe an antibiotic just to be safe and he can take it home.. if he had still had a fever he would have had to go to the hospital to get an antibiotic in the iv.. so we were blessed that his fever broke finally, yesterday.
wow.. that was a mouthful...
so through all this we have seen God bring peace, strength, celebration for continuing life and for peace in the loss of a life, and comfort to the family that lost the loved one..
GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME AND ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD>>>
I am so blessed.

Busy, Busy, Busy....
I have been such a slacker.. I have hardly been online at all!
My Aunt Rose and Cousin Virginia were in town last week, so I was busy with them...
Virginia brought her kids, Karis and Moises David and we all hung out.. Isaiah loved playing with Moises David. Karis is so grown up.. she is 12 going on 25!
I had fun haning out with Virginia and talking about our kids...
When I get some pictures, I will post them.
Roger is doing okay.. he is tired a lot and kinda has some mood swings.. they have still been taking more MRI's and ultrasounds on him.. and they have been changing his medications and adding some here and there.. so please keep him in in prayer.
We sold out other house to Roger's daughter, so that is great! one less house payment and house insurance payment! YAY!
I am starting to REALLY potty train Isaiah today.. I bought him big boy underwear and some plastic covers for them.. he is doing great.. he had one accident right after he put them on.. but after that he has gone potty twice on the toilet! YAY! I am excited, please pray that I stay consistant with him so that he can learn to be a big boy!
Kendall is growing sooo fast.. he is almost the same size as Isaiah...he is already wearing some 18 month clothes.. He will be one in June. He has some teeth coming in on top and one on bottom, so he has been kinda cranky, plus I started him on real milk and weaning him off breastfeeding.
so that is how things are going right now...
my sinus and ears have been just killing me.. the weather changes, so much and my sinus' react!
Roger's birthday is friday... he will be 46! yeah, I married an old guy.
I hope everyone had a wonderful MOTHER'S DAY! Roger bought me a new "expensive" purse and wallet, I got to pick it out.. I will take a picture and post it, it is sooo pretty. The boys were in a baby parade at church yesterday, the kids were so cute.. picture on that soon, too. Roger had to work, so I went out to eat with my cousin Madie, it was really nice.. we hardly see eachother anymore!
My brother Rob is getting married next month and I kept telling myself that I was going to loss some weight before the wedding, so far only like 3 pounds.. my dress fits okay (I am a bridesmaid) but I am still so chubby.. I hate baby weight! I never lost it all from my first pregnancy.
that's okay.. as long as my kids are good, I am good.
I am going to start walking with my sister in law, Jill.. and my new niece MIA, she is sooo cute! so maybe by next summer, I will bring back sexy! :-) was I ever?!
I am in my cousin Delfino's wedding next summer, too. I can't wait! I love his fiance, Jackie.. she is super nice.
Okay, I am rambling.. just wanted to put down some of my thoughts..
have a great day everyone and I will post some pictures soon!
I want to start another ROLL CALL! so if you stopped by, leave me a note to say HOLA!

My new niece Mia DeLeon Gonzales arrived this morning at 12:32am..
7lbs and 19 inches long.. I had the privelege of being in the delivery room with Martin and Jill when it happened.. What a beautiful miracle.. it was so wierd to be the one helping instead of the one to be having the baby! :-)
Everyone is doing great, she is gorgeous (she looks like me) and smart and wonderful! Martin is a softie with her and Jill is already a pro! Keep them in your prayers and they start this Journey with a new little Baby.. pray for Guidance, patience and strength that they will help this baby grow up in admonition of the Lord.

Well, the good news first...
MARTIN IS HOME IN SAGINAW!!! HE SHOWED UP AT MY PARENTS HOUSE AT 7PM
HE SAID HE WAS COMPLAINING TO HIS SUPERIORS UNTIL THEY LET HIM COME HOME EARLY, SO THAT HE COULD BE HERE IN TIME FOR THE BABY TO BE BORN!! YAY!!!!
THE BAD NEWS... my husbands daughters are both pregnant, his older daughter lost her baby today.. it was an etopic pregnancy.. this is her fourth pregnancy, after the third failed pregnancy, she lost a tube, and this time they took out the other tube..
I can't imagine what it is like to feel that disapointment of losing babies four times.. just pray that the Lord will give her comfort and peace, and take away her sadness.. and to be thankful that the Lord has given us what we have thus far!

Just stopping in ...
Well, Roger is doing okay, I guess.. he has his MRI tonight and he is at another doctor for his knee, this morning. He went to the eye doctor yesterday, to rule out glaucoma.
My mom says that Martin is going to be in the United States on Thursday! YAY!!! that means he is somewhere safe! He should be back home here in Saginaw, at the end of this month.. they have to be in San Diego to debrief and get counseling for a couple of weeks. He daughter is due on the 20th... we were hoping that he would be back in time, but we're not so sure now... but having him home at all is just a blessing..
Well, I am going to be a (step) Grandma! my husbands daughter, Gequita is due in October.. I look good for a grandma! :-)
I took Isaiah and my nephew Alex to the Library yesterday.. I used to take Isaiah with me to the Library when he was a baby, but I am sure he doesn't remember.. so this is the first time for both of them as "big" boys. It was so cute..everyone kept asking me if they were twins.. they loved the books and had a great time, and were such good boys.
The weather has been really nice since Sunday! I am hoping that the snow is gone for the season, but we will see, Michigan weather is so unpredictable...it was so nice not to have to wear tights or nylons to church on Sunday!
I JUST WANT TO TAKE A MINUTE TO SAY THAT ALL THE FRIENDS AND FAMILY OF THE PEOPLE THAT WERE KILLED AT VIRGINIA TECH U. ARE IN MY PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS! ESPECIALLY THE PARENTS.. AS A PARENT, I CANNOT COMPREHEND THAT FEELING OF LOSS AND TERROR. PLEASE ACCEPT MY DEEPEST SYMPATHIES!

in the ER again!
well, we were in the ER again last night.. until almost 6 am... Roger was starting to have wierd feelings in his left arm and felt dizzy. They took him right back and his blood pressure wasn't super high.. for him.. but high for someone normal!
Anyways.. they did another cat scan on his brain, due to the dizzyness and the left arm feeling funny.. well, they said that there was an abnormality and now he has to get another MRI and an MRA to see what is going on.. pray for him.. he is scared now..I left Isaiah with my mom and took Kendall with us because I had to breastfeed.. he was such a good boy!
Okay, I have to go, Kendall is crying.. I am sooo tired today!

more on Roger....
well, the doctor called today and said that the Ultrasound on Roger's liver came out okay and that the mass they might have seen on his cat scan could have been a shadow or something.. That is a relief! and an answer to prayer.. But his blood pressure is still high and we don't know why he is having this problem.. so the doctor is going to re adjust his medication and try a different dosage, and he has to go to the eye doctor to see if maybe it is glaucoma or something in his eyes bringing his blood pressure up..
Thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers, it is so nice to have friends that are praying...
Kendall is trying to stand up all the way and is all over the place! I am sure he will be walking very soon.. I am excited, that way I don't have to carry him in his car seat anymore! he is over 22lbs and oh so very heavy! :-)

more about my hubby....
Well.. the doctor's office called and said that my husbands test on his kidney's came back okay....
BUT they saw a mass in his liver and they want him to get an ultra sound on wednesday morning.. she has already made his appointment for him when she called me..I'm kinda nervous about that..
I am praying that the Lord will take control and I am claiming good health for my husband and for strenght and patience for me...
right now I feel aweful! I am so stuffed up and have a terrible headache! my allergy doctor told us to get hepa filter room air purifiers and I think it gave me and Isaiah the sniffles! the air was blowing kinda cold...wierd...
so that is the low down..
also an update on Mr Brady from my church, his illness is an incurable cancer in his blood! it can go in remission, but not be cured.. his family has to wait a couple of months to go to u of m to get a a marrow transplant, so please pray for him and for his family.

cute things kids say.....
These have to be original and genuine. No adult has ever been this creative.
JACK (age 3) was watching his Mom breast-feeding his new baby
sister. After a while he asked: "Mom why have you got two? Is one for
hot and one for cold milk?"
MELANIE (age 5) asked her Granny how old she was. Granny replied
she was so old she didn't remember any more. Melanie said, "If you don't
remember you must look in the back of your panties. Mine say five to
six."
STEVEN (age 3) hugged and kissed his Mom good night. "I love you
so much that when you die I'm going to bury you outside my bedroom
window."
BRITTANY (age 4) had an earache and wanted a pain killer. She
tried in vain to take the lid off the bottle. Seeing her frustration,
her Mom explained it was a child-proof cap and she'd have to open it for
her. Eyes wide with wonder, the little girl asked: "How does it know
it's me?"
SUSAN (age 4) was drinking juice when she got the hiccups.
"Please don't give me this juice again," she said, "It makes my teeth
cough."
DJ (age 4) stepped onto the bathroom scale and asked: "How much
do I cost?"
MARC (age 4) was engrossed in a young couple that were hugging
and kissing in a restaurant. Without taking his eyes off them, he asked
his dad: "Why is he whispering in her mouth?"
CLINTON (age 5) was in his bedroom looking worried. When his Mom
asked what was troubling him, he replied, "I don't know what'll happen
with this bed when I get married. How will my wife fit in?"
JAMES (age 4) was listening to a Bible story. His dad read: "The
man named Lot was warned to take his wife and flee out of the city but
his wife looked back and was turned to salt." Concerned, James asked:
"What happened to the flea?"
TAMMY (age 4) was with her mother when they met an elderly,
rather wrinkled woman her Mom knew. Tammy looked at her for a while and
then asked, "Why doesn't your skin fit your face?"
The Sermon I think this Mom will never forget.. this particular
Sunday sermon..."Dear Lord," the minister began, with arms extended
toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. "Without you,
we are but dust." He would have continued but at that moment my very
obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite
audibly "what is butt dust"???
"Please don't give me this juice again," she said, "It makes my teeth
cough."
DJ (age 4) stepped onto the bathroom scale and asked: "How much
do I cost?"

update on my husband.....
just wanted to tell all of you thank you for praying for my husband .. this week has been crazy.. we thought he was getting better because the doctor changed his medication and his legs went down a little on the swelling. Tuesday night he was in the ER at covenant because his blood pressure was 170/126 and they couldn't get it down and they couldn't figure out why it was soo high.. his eye was blurry and he had a headache. They sent him home and he went to work the next day still with his blood pressure high... they sent him to the er from work because it was 178/130 and he had chest pains, dizzyness and he was experiencing numbness in his face and his legs... we went to st mary's er instead of covenant this time and they took him right back and really did a great job to stabilize his blood pressure a little bit. they got it down enough for him to go safely home and he felt a bit better.. thursday he went to our family doctor and he sent him to get a test on his kidney, thinking that this might be why his pressure is so high... and he went this morning for that test, so we will see. his blood pressure is still high 150/116 I think.
thank you for praying for us and we covet your prayers... we hope to see you all sunday, Lord willing.. Roger says he is coming, too! Praise the Lord!

Before I was a mom.....
For all you Beautiful Mommies!!!!
Before I was a Mom
I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom - I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom
I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to
put them down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when
couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so
much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom -
I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so
important and happy.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every
10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache,
the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was
a Mom.

yet another post for today..
I got this in my e-mail today and thought it was cute..
So I thought I would share it with all of you...

KIDS IN CHURCH
3-year-old Reese:
"Our Father, Who does art in heaven,
Harold is His name.
Amen."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A little boy was overheard praying:
"Lord, if you can't make me a better boy, don't worry about it.
I'm having a real good time like I am."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After the christening of his baby brother in church,
Jason sobbed all the way home in the back seat of the car.
His father asked him three times what was wrong.
Finally, the boy replied,
"That preacher said he wanted us brought up in a Christian home,
and I wanted to stay with you guys."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One particular four-year-old prayed,
"And forgive us our trash baskets
as we forgive those who put trash in our baskets."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A Sunday school teacher asked her children as they
were on the way to church service,
"And why is it necessary to be quiet in church?"
One bright little girl replied,
"Because people are sleeping."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A mother was preparing pancakes for her sons, Kevin 5, and Ryan 3.
The boys began to argue over who would get the first pancake.
Their mother saw the opportunity for a moral lesson.
"If Jesus were sitting here, He would say,
'Let my brother have the first pancake, I can wait.'
Kevin turned to his younger brother and said,
"Ryan, you be Jesus!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A father was at the beach with his children
when the four-year-old son ran up to him,
grabbed his hand, and led him to the shore
where a seagull lay dead in the sand.
"Daddy, what happened to him?" the son asked.
"He died and went to Heaven," the Dad replied.
The boy thought a moment and then said,
"Did God throw him back down?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A wife invited some people to dinner.
At the table, she turned to their six-year-old daughter and said,
"Would you like to say the blessing?"
"I wouldn't know what to say," the girl replied.
"Just say what you hear Mommy say," the wife answered.
The daughter bowed her head and said,
"Lord, why on earth did I invite all these people to dinner?"
So I thought I would share it with all of you...
Kendall....
Wednesday, March 21, 2007
I spoke too soon!
Last night Kendall started coughing and was tossing and turning all night!!!! So this morning I called the Doctor and they took us in and prescribed antibiotics for him... I guess Isaiah did kiss him too much.. :-)
Isaiah looooooves the Doctor! I need to get a picture of them together and post it.. He always says Hi doctor, and the doctor gives him high fives and plays with him.. he is a tall guy, with a polish accent, Isaiah just can't wait to see him ...it's so cute and it makes it soo easy when we have to go see him, because Isaiah thinks he hung the moon!
Mr. Bill Brady & Stephanie Krupnek....
PLEASE ADD THESE TWO PEOPLE TO YOUR PRAYER LIST!
STEPHANIE IS IN HER EARLY TWENTIES...SHE HAS HAD PROBLEMS WITH TUMORS AND THEY HAVE CAUSED DEAFNESS AND I THINK SOME PROBLEMS WITH HER VISION.. I AM NOT EXACTLY SURE.. SHE ATTENDS MY CHURCH AND I GREW UP WITH HER BROTHER IN SCHOOL. SHE WENT TO THE MAYO CLINIC TO REMOVE A TUMOR ON HER BRAIN STEM AND THEY FOUND CANCER.. I DON'T THINK THAT THERE ARE A LOT OF OPTIONS, HE TUMORS ARE REACCURING AND SO THEY KEEP GROWING BACK AND CAUSING PROBLEMS.. I THINK THE LAST ONE ALMOST CHOKED HER TO DEATH AND I THINK SHE HAS A TRACH NOW. SO PRAY FOR HER TO BE COMFORTABLE AND FOR HER FAMILY TO MAKE DECISIONS IN HER BEST INTEREST.
ALSO.. BILL BRADY, SUNDAY IN CHURCH PASTOR ANNOUNCED THAT HE HAS A BLOOD DISEASE AND SUNDAY NIGHT THEY SAID IT WAS CANCEROUS.. I DON'T KNOW MUCH MORE THAN THAT.. BUT THEY SAY IT IS VERY SERIOUS AND THAT THE DOCTORS DID NOT HAVE REALLY ANYTHING GOOD TO SAY.. HE IS A SUPER NICE GUY.. HIS DAUGHTER IS MY SISTERS AGE AND HE IS GOOD FRIENDS WITH MY PARENTS.. SO PLEASE KEEP HIM AND HIS FAMILY IN PRAYER.. THE LORD CAN WORK MIRACLES IN BOTH OF THESE SITUATIONS..
sniffles and coughs....
Well, Isaiah started out with a once in a while cough on thursday night.. and it sounded like a barking cough.. almost like when he had croup before! So friday morning I called the doctor and they got him right in... He gave him a steroid and an antibiotic... It worked well, you could tell the difference when he was breathing there was no wheezing sound and the bark was gone.. but now it is a regular flemmy (sp?) cough... He did fine Sunday.. not too much coughing.. just once in a while and he did fine at church.. but monday morning.. he was coughing and sneezing and a runny nose.. he spit up once a lot of mucas..and his little nose is red from me cleaning it... poor baby, but he is a trooper.. he still plays and just comes when he sneezes and gets his nose wiped! he is such a good boy for mommy. We were supposed to go to church for a spaghetti dinner, but I am not sure if we are going.. he seems good today.. no coughs yet.. so we will see. Kendall is doing great.. Isaiah always wants to hug him and tries to kiss him.. it's hard to keep him away from eachother.. but Kendall has never gotten sick from Isaiah.. must be the vitamins keeping him from catching anything...
so pray for Isaiah-- to be better soon..
and for Roger, he goes thursday for his ecko...
My Husband Roger...
Well, I don't know if you remember me posting about my husband, Roger's Knee...
well, his knee swelling never went down and then his leg and foot started swelling, too...
now the other leg is swelling..
we have been getting the run around from the doctors that his work sends us too and our family doctor doesn't take workman's comp claims.. so we are having trouble..
friday he went to another workman comp doctor and they said they are going to drain his knee on tuesday.. so pray that it will help.
They are also going to test to see why his leggs and feet are swelling up, too. He has high blood pressure and diabetes run in his family.. I am hoping that none of those are the reason why he is having problems.
Also, he came to church and want to come more.. so pray for him in that area too.
I appreciate and covet your prayers..
thanks have a great weekend.
Pregnancy, Estrogen and Women
Pregnancy Q & A & more!
A: No, 35 children is enough.
A: With any luck, right after he finishes college.
Q: What is the most reliable method to determine a baby's sex?
A: Childbirth.
Q: My wife is five months pregnant and so moody that sometimes she's borderline irrational.
Q: My childbirth instructor says it's not pain I'll feel during labor, but pressure. Is she right?
A: Yes, in the same way that a torn! ado might be called an air current.
Q: When is the best time to get an epidural?
A: Right after you find out you're pregnant.
Do as I say, not as I do....
I was just thinking about this today... I was reading through some of the devotions in my little "daily bread" that we get free at church... and I was skimming through one talking about Believing God.. it said a lot of people believe in some sort of god..but we need to believe God..
Acts 27:25
Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.
We need to believe in God and have faith.. but we also need to believe that what He says is true.. Paul says "that it shall be even as it was told me"
but anyways.. a thought popped in my head..
I nag my husband about eating sugary snacks, especially in front of the kids...
yes I said nag...he probably thinks that would be a suitable word to use..
anyways.. I try not to let Isaiah eat candy if I don't have to, I give him somthing to eat that are good for him.. and it works, and he thinks they are exciting snacks.. sometimes, on special occasions he will get candy and might taste it and then put it down half-eaten or not eaten at all.. he likes fruit, and would rather have apples, pineapple bits or bananas! I am so proud of him...
ANYWAYS! back to the subject.. one day my husband says to me... well, they will do as I say, not as I do...
in our spiritual life, is that how I am? am I so great at giving advice that
I don't have the willpower to follow myself? wow...I have had apiritual epiphany!
this prompts me to stop what I am doing and BEG God to give me willpower to do as I say, to watch what I say, to not be so judgemental to think that someone else "needs" my "golden" advice---but to pray for them instead! I need to pray more and speak less! I need to believe God when He says he hears my prayers, and let Him do His will!
What I was reading today....
Ever feel as if you need to get away?
So did Jesus..
Mark 1:35
And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.
Ever have so many demands that you can't stop for lunch? He can relate.
Make 6:31
And He said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.
Do your friends ever let you down? When Christ needed help his friends dozed off.
Matthew 26:40
And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?
When you turn to Him for help, He runs to you to help. Why? He knows how you feel. He's been there...So go to Him.
--by Max Lucado
Isn't that good? God is there, just waiting for us to ask for help.. all we have to do is ask.. Yet so many times, things happen in our lives and the flesh makes us think.. where was God when these bad things happen? why didn't He help me?
He ws there.. we never asked... we sometimes get so busy trying to do everything ourselves...God is good all the time, all the time, God is good!
I hope this is a blessing to someone to day... it was to me..
So did Jesus..
OH YEAH!!!
My pastor's wife is so good..
she said a lot of good things in church today.. but something funny stuck out that I wanted to write in my blogg..
We spend the first three years of our childrens lives teaching them to walk, talk and play.. we then spend the next fifteen years of thier lives trying to get them to sit down, be still and be quiet!!!
hilarious!
To all the mothers of boys.. or just live with boys (husbands)
The following came from an anonymous Mother in Austin , Texas ...
Things I've learned from my boys (honest and not kidding):
1. A king size waterbed holds enough water to fill a 2000 sq. foot house 4
inches deep.
2. If you spray hair spray on dust bunnies and run over them with roller blades, they can ignite.
3. A 3-year old boy's voice is louder than 200 adults in a crowded restaurant.
4. If you hook a dog leash over a ceiling fan, the motor is not strong enough to rotate a 42 pound boy wearing Batman underwear and a superman cape. It is strong
enough, however if tied to a paint can, to spread paint on all four walls of a 20x20 ft. room.
5. You should not throw baseballs up when the ceiling fan is on. When using a ceiling fan as a bat, you have to throw the ball up a few times before you get a hit. A ceiling fan can hit a baseball a long way.
6. The glass in windows (even double-pane) doesn't stop a baseball hit by a ceiling fan.
7. When you hear the toilet flush and the words "uh oh", it's already too late.
8. Brake fluid mixed with Clorox makes smoke, and lots of it.
9. A six-year old boy can start a fire with a flint rock even though a
36-year old man says they can only do it in the movies.
10. Certain Lego's will pass through the digestive tract of a 4-year old boy.
11. Play dough and microwave should not be used in the same sentence.
12. Super glue is forever.
13. No matter how much Jell-O you put in a swimming pool you still can't walk on water.
14. Pool filters do not like Jell-O.
15. VCR's do not eject "PB & J" sandwiches even though TV commercials show they do.
16. Garbage bags do not make good parachutes.
17. Marbles in gas tanks make lots of noise when driving.
18. You probably DO NOT want to know what that odor is.
19. Always look in the oven before you turn it on; plastic toys do not like ovens.
20. The fire department in Austin , TX has a 5-minute response time.
21. The spin cycle on the washing machine does not make earthworms dizzy.
22. It will, however, make cats dizzy.
23. Cats throw up twice their body weight when dizzy.
24. 80% of Men who read this will try mixing the Clorox and brake fluid.
25. Women will pass this on to almost all of their friends, with or without
kids.
No one is perfect.....
I recently joined the secret sisters at church... it's like secret pals, and I already got something from my secret sister! It was so nice, a bag full of goodies----lotion, shower gel, a candle and a little devotional book written by Max Lucado called Everday Blessings.. it's really nice and I thought I would share something from it...
Would you forgive a wanted murderer to lead a nation out of bondage? Would you call upon a fugitive to carry the Ten Commandments? God did... Called his name through a burning bush. Scared old Moses right out of his sandals!
The reassuring lesson is clear. God.. uses people to change the world. People! Not saints or superhumans or geniuses, but people.
John 13:18 I know whom I have chosen.
I've been tagged
Well, I was tagged by Steph, and I didn't even realize it.. I need to read more carefully!
She wanted us to write 5 things about ourselves that you might not know.. so here I go....
1. I am very sensative, my feelings get hurt very easily. I guess I take things too personal, a lot of times.. I am always asking God to give me strength and to be a little more thick skinned. I try to hide this about myself, so I guess I can act tough.
2. I like doing make-up and hair.. I would like to go to cosmeltology school one day to learn to do makeup and hair.. just for myself or to do family or friends hair for special occasions.
3. My first job was at Self Serve Lumber.. I was the first girl to work there and the last.. I worked there when I was sixteen... I guess they thought it was to risky to have a girl doing all that hard labor of cleaning and doing heavy duty lifting...
4. Like Donnette, I thought that I would never have kids, strike that.. never be ABLE to have kids, because I have Endometreosis...so I got used to that thought and was fine with it..
I have two boys now... and I love them sooo much.. I can't imagine my life without them, they are so funny and precious.. I am truly blessed.
5. It's hard to think of 5 things someone might not know about me.. let me see...I am left handed, I am supposed to wear glasses, I love cheese!, I hate baths, love showers, did not love being pregnant, but loved the baby! I am very impatient, don't like when people waste time doing nothing (my husband)
so there is something! so now i tag All my friends to tell me 5 things! good luck!!!!
Sunday School
Before I forget I want to post this, I heard it in Sunday School this morning..
Unless it is TESTED, you can't TRUST your faith...
God gives us tests, that is when we need to believe in Him and Trust Him.. that is how we learn to trust our faith in God, instead of just talking about it.. then we can be about it...
God is good all the time, and all the time, GOD IS GOOD!
Nothing much going on these days.. Kendall got his first tooth, good for him, bad for me.. he breastfeeds! :-(
My brother is doing good.. he called my parents..hopefully be home beginning of April. (hopefully he will make it to see his daughter born!)
It's so nice to hear from so many friends that I haven't seen or talked to since college or high school! Even getting to know people that I knew from college or wasn't close to.. this is a great chance for us to get to know eachother better, I am so greatful for this chance.. it is a real blessing to share all our daily experiences about our spouses and kids...
Hope that everyone is doing well.
New Year!
Well, it's the new year, and I haven't really posted much.. I have been busy with lots of stuff, and I don't have a computer at home.. so I use my moms computer. She just recently got high speed internet, so that is fun.. before it took FOREVER to look at stuff or to put pictures online. I put a picture of my brother Robert with my nephew Alex, my dad and my son Kendall, my brother Martin, waiting at the airport when he was going to Iraq and my sister Valentina.. (isn't she pretty?)
Anyways.. I have been blessed and there have been trials lately.
I have been so blessed from my church and from my pastor and his wife.. My pastor's wife (Kathy Jackson) is my Sunday school teacher and she is awesome.. everything she teaches in class is something that I can use in my everyday life. And it is so wierd, now I guess that I am a mother and wife,, I must really pay attention in church now.. because it seems like every since I started going back to Community Baptist.. I have been learning so much from the messages! things I probably heard before but never really listened to and how they work in my life.. I don't know if that makes sense...
Another thing that has been on my heart is my brother, Martin.. His being in Iraq right now always has him on my mind..and I worry about him and pray for him and all the troops over there.. His group has lost about 5 guys this last time they have been in Iraq and they are in a much dangerous zone.. Two of those guys had their funerals close by so my parents went.. and a couple of army guys from saginaw and a local church we know had their funerals and I went to one.. my friend Katie's husband.. it was so sad and I didn't really cry until the end when they had the gun salute.. I just started crying because the shot kinda shocked me, I guess.. I don't know..
So i have been thinking.. I wonder if that were to happen to my brother and we had to plan his funeral or even if I had died and my funeral was being planned.. WHAT WOULD I WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW? what would be the last thing that they hear from me? What would Martin want us to know? That no matter what has happened in his life or what he did, that Jesus is the answer to everything? that we need to get our lives in order for our sakes, for our children's sakes? to live how God would want us to live? that the reason why people are miserable and searching for stuff is because they are really missing God? I have been thinking about that lately..
On to something else, my husband hurt his leg at work.. he works at Caro Center, sort of like Betheseda in watertown. anyways.. he was doing a restraint on a patient and hurt his knee.. it is swollen up and in pain.. the swelling looks like fluid is on his knee cap.. we went to the ER and then he went to work and sent him home and told him to go see their doctor.. we went today and the doctor is a QUACK!!! he didn't check anything and sent him back to work without any restrictions.. so we will see what happens..
God is good all the time, and all the time God is good!!!
Have a great day
Happy New year.
I can't believe it is 2007! Already!!!
A couple of things have happened since I last posted..
Christmas, my Birthday, among other things.
Christmas was nice..my husband had to work both Christmas and Christmas Eve.. that was a bit of a downer.. but we got some visiting done before he had to go to work.. he works second shift.
The boys got some nice gifts.. Isaiah got a nice little suit outfit to wear to church.. they both got some great toys..
Isaiah LOVES LOVES LOVES the movie CARS, so he got a little pillow with cars on it and he sleeps with it, he has to make sure his head is on the pillow when he lays down...it is sooo cute.
He also got a little police motorcyle from Grandpa and Grandma Williams.. it is so cool.. it looks so real, it's neat because my brother in law is a police officer.
Isaiah also got a rocking horse from my parents, and he got the almost same one from my husbands parents last year.. so now we have two! one for each boy to play on. :-)
And he got some cute slippers from his sister.. they have Spongebob square pants on them...
Kendall got a lot of clothes and toys, but he is too little to even notice.. Isaiah plays with all of his toys because he thinks they are his.
But most of all Christmas was nice because we got to see a lot of friends and family.
My cousin Ray got to come home, he is in Marine boot camp right now, and my other cousin Lorenzo is in basic training in the Army and he got to come home.. But poor Lorenzo got sick about the second day he got home.. so he really hasn't gotten to enjoy his vacation.
At church on Christmas Eve they had a testimony time and God just laid it on my heart to give a testimony.. I am so thankful for my church, and for my Pastor and His family! I was attending another church on and off for a while and I wasn't as faithful as I should have been.. I didn't feel right being there.. so I decided to come back "home" to Community Baptist.. I was overwhelmed with gratitude to God at how welcome everybody made me feel.. I fell back in and rejoined the choir!! I love to sing and love the choir.. it was great, I got to sing in the Cantata.. anyways.. I just said I was so thankful how everyone welcomed me back and I felt at home and I was glad to bring my boys so they could learn like how I did and even though I fell off track I am back on and hope that the Lord lets my boys grow up to serve Him and of course I got all weepy, but that is how I felt.. I asked them to pray for me and my family and that the Lord will urge my husband to want to come to church with us....
On another note.. My brothers group lost 3 more marines on December 27th.. they were riding in a hummer (I think) and they were ambushed.. it was really bad.. Martin sent me a message telling me about it.. one of his buddies were killed .. he was from Vasaar Michigan. Anyways.. Martin said that he was right there, and he was scared because all the shooting was going on all around him and he was trying to help the guys that got shot.. One guy got shot in the chest.. He said he isn't afraid to die, he just doesn't want to.. he has a little girl on the way and doesn't want to miss that... I started crying because I can't imagine what he is going through.... I pray for him all the time.. I just pray for God to protect him.. like he is in a globe, ya know? and that globe is protection from all the bullets and harmful things going on in Iraq... I also pray for God to keep him alert, strong and aware of everything going on around him.. I know that is essential in what he is doing.. especially since he is a Seargant and he is in charge of other guys on the missions.. I hate seeing the news, because I am afraid to see him on there in a dangerous predicament..
Last sunday I guess he sent a message to my mom telling her that he was going to be in the Detroit Free Press.. They had a article on his ground and they showed pictures and a video on the newspapers website and Martin was on there a lot and they took a lot of quotes of what he said.. it was comforting to my mom to see him.
Last night I got to go out on a date with my husband for New Years Eve! I can't remember when the last time is that we had an alone date!! It was so nice!! My cousin and sister babysat at our house, that did n't go to so smoothly.. I think Kendall had a lot of gad built up because my dad accidentally gave him my nephews bottle, earlier in the day which had soy formula in it, and it came back to haunt him later!!!! so he was no fun for the girls and Isaiah did not want to stay sleeping... otherwise me and my hubby had a nice time!!!
Well, I have to get going.. but I just wanted to write a little bit..
"Little is much when God is in it.. labor not for wealth for fame.. there's a crown and you can win it! If you'll go in Jesus Name!!!" <---I love that song and was just thinking about it..
God is GOOD ALL THE TIME, peace out.
Another monday
Well, last night was the Cantata at Church.. it was nice.. I was sitting right behind the drama team, while I was in the choir, so I got to see everything up close and personal!
All the college kids are home for break.. I feel so old, some of the kids I used to babysit are college kids...some of them go to MBBC!
This is kind of a bittersweet time of year, because my brother, Martin, is in Iraq right now.. I can imagine how crappy it is for him to be there and not with his family.. I pray for him everyday. I miss him tons.
My little sister Valentina is home from Grace Bible College for break.. she wants to sit out a semester! I told her no, because it is hard to go back once you have stopped.. believe me.
I can't believe Christmas is next monday.. I am not ready! Where did the time go!!!
I hope that the Lord Blesses everyone and keeps you all safe and peaceful this Holiday season.
Monday afternoon
Well, here is the picture of Isaiah in front of the Christmas tree with his tie on.. it is sooo cute!
and then there is one with Kendall and his little brother t-shirt.. The Lord is Good, and had blessed me with cuties...
my sister bought a night sleeping mask and Isaiah HAD to try it on... and I got Kendall smiling for mommy....
Not much going on here.. just a nice day.. for Michigan! In the 40's here.
It didn't feel like Christmas yet to me, but when we were practing the Cantata at church yesterday, that Christmas feeling started to kick in..
It's been so great lately, that a lot of our family has been coming back to church.. we barely fit in a pew during the service!! It's so nice.. the Lord has really been working lately.. I can see it..
Prayer changes things.
Have a great day.... The Lord is good ALL THE TIME!!!
Sunday Sunday
Well, I am soooo tired this afternoon! I had a hard time paying attention in Church today..
Kendall kinda tossed and turned and was coughing and that kept me awake.. and then when it was time to wake up, satan wanted to mess with me and I almost stayed home, but I knew I had to get up and go....
Isaiah had a new outfit with a tie on it, he was so proud of it, I will post some pictures when I get one.. he looks so cute.
Well, a family at our church.. the Hawes family, their house burnt down this weekend.. I think Friday.. Luckily they weren't even home, they were out somewhere.. so they were safe, but they lost EVERYTHING! They were blessed to have good Insurance, and already some people have given them clothes and things to hold them over.. They are such a good testimony, even the firefighters were surprised at how they had a positive attitude--->even though they lost everything.. the Lord still provided. Some people might know them by their kids.. Scott, Jeff, Teresa and Jennifer, they all went to Maranatha .
If anyone is interested in donating, money or clothing.. you can send it to
Kendall kinda tossed and turned and was coughing and that kept me awake.. and then when it was time to wake up, satan wanted to mess with me and I almost stayed home, but I knew I had to get up and go....
Isaiah had a new outfit with a tie on it, he was so proud of it, I will post some pictures when I get one.. he looks so cute.
Well, a family at our church.. the Hawes family, their house burnt down this weekend.. I think Friday.. Luckily they weren't even home, they were out somewhere.. so they were safe, but they lost EVERYTHING! They were blessed to have good Insurance, and already some people have given them clothes and things to hold them over.. They are such a good testimony, even the firefighters were surprised at how they had a positive attitude--->even though they lost everything.. the Lord still provided. Some people might know them by their kids.. Scott, Jeff, Teresa and Jennifer, they all went to Maranatha .
If anyone is interested in donating, money or clothing.. you can send it to
Well, my brother, Rob, turned 35 yesterday! I can't believe how old he is, and how old I am! I will be 32 soon! I used to think that was so old! Now, of course, I think that is just fine!
One of the marines in Martin's group was killed thursday, it is so sad and scary! I pray for Martin everday and sometimes all day when I am thinking about him... I just ask God to keep him sharp minded and smart and safe! I know that the Lord is in control, and all I can ask for is safety and peace.... The boy was from Jackson, Michigan, his name was Lance Corporal Brent Beeler. Please pray for his family, I can't imagine how it feels to lose someone this way.
I bought some rice and oatmeal baby cereal for Kendall, yesterday. I figured it was time because he stares so hard at us when we are eating! It's sooo cute! I gave him a little bit today, and he ate it, he liked it.. so we will see how that goes.
Our heater was on the fritz and luckily our next door neighbor, that moved in this past summer, owns a heating and cooling business. So he came over and fixed it for free!!! He told Roger all he wanted from him was to work on his old car that he has in the garage.. so that was nice.. Also-- when he was fixing the heater, he found 3 hornets nests in a pipe, clogging it up! We are so blessed that they didn't get into the house and sting Roger! He is really allergice to bee's and hornets! He get's really swollen up and has to go the hospital! So the Lord was watching over us while the heater was getting glogged with bees.
Well, Kendall is getting fussy! so I am out for today....
The Lord is good, ALL THE TIME!
My First Blogg!!!
Well, I never thought I would blogg! what a technological advancement for me!
but I saw Sara's blogg and thought it would be nice to write down my thoughts and day to day happenings to keep in touch.
Well, if some of you haven't seen or heard from me, here is the lowdown.
I married a guy named Roddrick (Roger) Williams, June 2004
Have a son named Isaiah Zachary Gonzales Williams, August 2004 ( yes I can see some of you doing the math in your heads right now)
and we just had another addition in June of this year, Kendall James Gonzales Williams.
I love my two boys and I am blessed to be able to stay at home with them full time.
My husband works at Caro Center, which is sort of like Betheseda
Anyways.. we live in Saginaw, Michigan. we live in a big farmhouse with 15 acres of Land.
I go to church at Community Baptist Church where Doug Jackson is the Pastor, I love that church I grew up there, and got away for a while.. I was going to another church, but the Lord was calling me back to Community. My husband doesn't really get to go to church, he works 2nd shift and only get's every 6th or 7th weekend off... so pray for him if you would.. I am sure he would appreciate it.
My brother Martin is in Iraq right now.. and he has a little one on the way..due in April.. we are sooo excited we just found out today that it is a girl!! they are going to name her Mia.
well, the Lord is good ALL THE TIME!
